Matlock Operatic Society

The Matlock Operatic Society is based in the town of Matlock in the beautiful county of Derbyshire, England.

Derbyshire has a landscape that varies from the wild bleak moor lands in the north of the county to the gentle river plains in the south.

Matlock itself lies in the centre of the county and, at one time, was a major spa town. It is now a tourist centre acting as a gateway to the Peak District National Park. Derbyshire County Council has its main administrative centre here.
